...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 515 PM PDT THIS
AFTERNOON...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...A portion of northeast Nevada, including the following
county, Elko.
* WHEN...Until 515 PM PDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Dangerous flows over low-water crossings.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 249 PM PDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.7 and 1.2 inches of
rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.1 to 0.2 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
