This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for western and north central New
York.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

The chance for widespread hazardous weather is low.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Showers and thunderstorms Wednesday and Wednesday evening will likely
include some heavy rain...with some of the storms having the risk of
becoming strong to severe.

It will then become hot and quite humid for much of the upcoming
holiday weekend with dangerously high apparent temperatures Saturday
and Sunday. This will especially be the case across the lake plains
and in the valleys where apparent temperatures will likely exceed 100
degrees. Those planning outdoor festivities should plan on the
likelihood for heat related issues and act accordingly.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
