...EXTREME COLD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 7 AM SATURDAY TO 1 PM
EST SUNDAY...

* WHAT...Dangerously cold wind chills between 25 and 35 below zero
  expected.

* WHERE...The Eastern Lake Ontario Region.

* WHEN...From 7 AM Saturday to 1 PM EST Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Dangerously cold wind chills as low as 30 below zero
  will cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 15 minutes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

This is a potentially dangerous situation to be outdoors. If you
must be outside, be sure to cover all exposed skin. Frostbite can
occur in 15 minutes or less with apparent temperatures of 25 below
zero or colder.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM EST SUNDAY...

* WHAT...A combination of widespread snow and localized lake effect
  snow. Additional snow accumulations 3 to 6 inches expected in most
  areas, with 4 to 8 inches expected along the Lake Ontario
  shoreline. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph will create areas of
  blowing and drifting snow with whiteout conditions at times.

* WHERE...Monroe, Wayne, Northern Cayuga, Oswego, Livingston, and
  Ontario Counties.

* WHEN...Until 7 AM EST Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Travel will be difficult. Areas of blowing snow will
  significantly reduce visibility.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A warm front will bring widespread light snow
  showers this afternoon, which will intensify with a few snow
  squalls possible tonight as an Arctic front moves through.
  Widespread snow will then taper off to more localized lake effect
  snow tonight through Saturday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Periods of snow will result in snow covered roads and limited
visibilities. Slow down and use caution while driving.

During lake effect snow, the weather can vary from bands of locally
heavy snow with greatly reduced visibilities to dry conditions just
a few miles away. Be prepared for rapid changes in weather,
visibility, and road conditions.
