Showers and thunderstorms will move across the area early this morning, but they are not expected to be severe. Additional showers and thunderstorms will develop along a weak cold front later this afternoon near and north of the NY State Thruway corridor, and will weaken as they move south and east this evening. One or two storms could produce damaging wind gusts and hail. There is a marginal risk for severe thunderstorms. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.
