There is a low probability for widespread hazardous weather that
would meet NWS warning criteria.

...COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO 4 AM
EDT FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Up to one half foot of inundation above ground level
  expected in vulnerable areas near the waterfront and shoreline.

* WHERE...Northern Queens and Northern Nassau Counties.

* WHEN...From midnight tonight to 4 AM EDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Brief minor flooding of the more vulnerable
  locations near the waterfront and shoreline. Minor
  flooding in the more vulnerable locations near the waterfront
  and shoreline. Some roads and low lying properties including
  parking lots, parks, lawns, and homes and businesses with
  basements near the waterfront will experience minor flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Additional localized minor coastal flooding
  is possible Friday night.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be
closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of
unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone
property.
