The combination of heat and high humidity will result in maximum heat index values in the upper 90s to near 100 degrees on Saturday. Additionally, scattered storms are expected Saturday afternoon and evening. A few strong to severe storms may be possible, with damaging winds and heavy rainfall being the primary threats.
