...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 830 PM EDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...The following counties, in central Ohio, Fairfield,
  Franklin and Licking.

* WHEN...Until 830 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 533 PM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of
    rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1
    inch are possible.
  - Some locations that may experience flooding include...
    Columbus, Newark, Westerville, Reynoldsburg, Gahanna,
    Pickerington, Bexley, Heath, Granville, Pataskala, Canal
    Winchester, Groveport, Baltimore, Buckeye Lake, Hebron,
    Millersport, Hanover, Beechwood Trails, Granville South and
    Summit Station.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.

  Ross. In southwest Ohio, Clinton. In west central Ohio, Greene.

* WHEN...Until 800 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Some low-water crossings may become impassable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 450 PM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of
    rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1
    inch are possible.
  - Some locations that may experience flooding include...
    Lancaster, Chillicothe, Washington Court House, Circleville,
    Wilmington, Logan, Hillsboro, Greenfield, Blanchester,
    Nelsonville, Ashville, Baltimore, Sabina, South Bloomfield,
    Lynchburg, Bremen, Leesburg, New Vienna, Kingston and
    Williamsport.
