...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM EDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...The following counties, in central Ohio, Fairfield,
  Fayette, Hocking and Pickaway. In south central Ohio, Ross.

* WHEN...Until 600 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 305 PM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
    have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are
    possible.
  - Some locations that may experience flooding include...
    Washington Court House, Circleville, Kingston, Williamsport,
    Bloomingburg, New Holland, Logan Elm Village, Fox,
    Stoutsville, Laurelville, Clarksburg, Adelphi, Tarlton,
    Pickaway County Airport, State Route 138 at US Route 22,
    Andersonville, Aw Marion State Park, State Route 207 at US
    Route 22, Whisler and Hallsville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

  Franklin, Ohio, Ripley, Switzerland, Union and Wayne, the
  following counties, in Kentucky, Boone, Bracken, Campbell,
  Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Lewis, Mason, Owen, Pendleton
  and Robertson, and the following counties, in Ohio, Adams, Brown,
  Butler, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Fairfield, Fayette,
  Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Highland, Hocking, Madison, Miami,
  Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto and Warren.

* WHEN...Through Monday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Multiple rounds of thunderstorms with very heavy rainfall
    rates will move across the watch area leading to the
    potential for flash flooding.
