High heat stress conditions continue through the afternoon with heat index values in the 100 to 107 degree range across eastern Oklahoma and western Arkansas. In addition to the heat, ongoing drought conditions and breezy southerly winds are leading to elevated fire weather danger across parts of eastern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas. Isolated storm chances develop this evening in northeast Oklahoma, mainly near the Kansas border, as an outflow boundary from storms in Kansas looks to sag into the region. Localized gusty wind potential exists with any storm development. SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT...
