ONSET...Ongoing.

HEAVY RAIN.

DISCUSSION...
Showers and thunderstorms are ongoing across much of eastern
Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas, associated with a weakening storm
complex. The heaviest rain has shifted south of Interstate 40 in
southeast Oklahoma this morning. Although widespread flash
flooding is not expected, minor flooding will remain possible
through the rest of the morning. Rain chances will gradually
decrease through the daytime. However, additional thunderstorm
development may occur across portions of far eastern Oklahoma and
northwest Arkansas around midday. Some of these storms may become
strong or marginally severe through the afternoon.

SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT...
Local Spotter Activation May Be Needed.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.
MONDAY...Thunderstorm Potential.
TUESDAY...Thunderstorm...High Wind...
       ...and Dangerous Heat Potential.
WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY...Thunderstorm Potential.
FRIDAY AND SATURDAY...No Hazards.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
Low storm chances will linger into Monday morning, especially
across southeast Oklahoma. Otherwise, most of Monday should
remain dry. After a mostly dry and very unseasonably hot day on
Tuesday, thunderstorm chances increase again beginning late
Tuesday night into Wednesday as another upper level disturbance
moves across the Plains and a weak cold front approaches from the
north. High pressure builds in by Thursday evening and
unseasonably warm and dry weather will return late in the week
and into next weekend.
