Mainly quiet weather is expected today across the area. Recent

northeast OK. Moisture levels will gradually increase overnight,
with a slight chance of a few thunderstorms along the Red River
near dawn.
SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT...

MONDAY...Thunderstorm Potential...High Wind Potential.
TUESDAY...Thunderstorm Potential...High Wind Potential...Heavy Rain Potential.
WEDNESDAY...Thunderstorm Potential...High Wind Potential.
THURSDAY...High Wind Potential.
FRIDAY TO SATURDAY...No Hazards.
EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
A few showers and thunderstorms are possible Monday morning for
southeast OK into west-central AR. These should mostly be
subsevere, but an isolated instance of marginally severe hail may
occur. Breezy and very warm conditions will develop for most of
the area Monday afternoon.
The next storm system arrives Tuesday with a more widespread risk
of showers and thunderstorms. A few storms are expected to become
severe, with hail, wind, or tornadoes all possible. Areas of heavy
rain are expected under the stronger storms with some potential
for localized flash flooding. The cold front arrives Wednesday
with one more round of showers and storms as well as cooler
weather. Warm and dry weather is then expected to close out the
week.
