Gusty northwest winds and very dry air in place are yielding elevated fire weather danger over the region this afternoon, despite the cold temperatures. Fire weather conditions will improve after sunset this evening. SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT... Spotter Activation Not Expected. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday. Winds switch around to the south on Tuesday and will become gusty by afternoon, especially across northeast Oklahoma and far northwest Arkansas.
