This Outlook is for Northwest and West Central Arkansas as well as
much of Eastern Oklahoma.

.DAY ONE...This Evening and Tonight.

WINTER WEATHER.
ICE ACCUMULATION.
RISK...Limited.
AREA...Northeast Oklahoma and far Northwest Arkansas.
ONSET...Ongoing.

DISCUSSION...
Areas of mainly light freezing drizzle will continue into the
evening across parts of northeast Oklahoma and far northwest
Arkansas. A few pockets of light freezing rain may occur as
well. Additional ice accumulations will be light, with mainly a
glazing expected. Travel issues will continue however, with some
icy roads and slick spots likely, especially on bridges and
overpasses. A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect through
10 pm for northeast Oklahoma east of Highway 75 and far northwest
Arkansas.

SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT...
Spotter Activation Not Expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.
SATURDAY AND SUNDAY...No Hazards.
MONDAY AND TUESDAY...Winter Weather Potential.
WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY...No Hazards.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
Another low pressure system is expected to develop to the
southwest and move into the Plains during the early to middle part
of next week. Precipitation chances increase late Monday night
into Tuesday across eastern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas. There
remains some potential for wintry precipitation with this system.
Continue to monitor latest forecasts as details are refined
through the weekend.
