DISCUSSION...
Afternoon heat index values will again rise into the 100 to
105 degree range across much of eastern Oklahoma and
northwest Arkansas. Winds will remain gusty today into
tonight with frequent gusts of 25 to 35 mph especially
mid morning through mid afternoon.

SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT...
Spotter Activation Not Expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.
SUNDAY...No Hazards.
MONDAY through FRIDAY...Thunderstorm Potential.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
Heat index values will reach the 100 to 105 degree range
on Sunday. Thereafter, daily isolated to scattered thunderstorms
will return to the forecast for much of next week. Temperatures
will remain near late June normals with heat index values
of 95 to 100 degrees for most locations through the week.
