DISCUSSION...
Breezy to gusty northerly winds are expected to weaken during the
afternoon hours as an area of low pressure pulls farther away from
the region. Winds tonight become light as they begin to transition
back to southerly Monday morning. Light winds combined with recent
moisture will increase the potential for fog develop overnight
tonight into Monday morning. The greater potential for development
is across southeast and far eastern Oklahoma as well as northwest
Arkansas. Visibility conditions should improve through the
morning Monday with increasing southerly winds.

SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT...
Spotter Activation Not Expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.
MONDAY...High Wind Potential.
TUESDAY...Very High Fire Weather Potential...High Wind Potential.
WEDNESDAY...High Wind Potential.
THURSDAY...Very High Fire Weather Potential...High Wind Potential.
FRIDAY AND SATURDAY...No Hazards.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
Elevated fire weather dangers are the main concern across eastern
Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas through the week ahead. Gusty
south winds and warmer conditions Monday and Tuesday will aid in
elevating fire weather concerns over much of eastern Oklahoma and
northwest Arkansas. Winds look to weaken some Wednesday while a
boundary moves through, and then increase again from the west and
southwest Thursday. Fire weather danger could decrease slightly
Wednesday before increasing again Thursday.
