AREA...Eastern Oklahoma and Northwest Arkansas. ONSET...Ongoing. AREA AT GREATEST RISK...Far Eastern Oklahoma and Northwest Arkansas. DISCUSSION... Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms have developed across eastern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas this afternoon, and this activity will continue into the evening as an upper level disturbance traverses the area. Coverage will be greatest over northwest Arkansas into far eastern Oklahoma. Organized severe weather is not expected, but heavy rainfall and locally gusty winds could accompany the storms. Isolated instances of flash flooding will be possible. SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT... Spotter Activation Not Expected. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.
