DISCUSSION...
Heat index values from the upper 90s to around 100 degrees
are expected this afternoon in many locations. Isolated thunderstorms
are possible over the terrain of western Arkansas and southeast
Oklahoma this afternoon.

Daily chances of showers and thunderstorms will continue much of this
week, with an increase in coverage possible both Tuesday and Wednesday.
Most of the storms should remain over western Arkansas and far eastern
Oklahoma.
