This Outlook is for Northwest and West Central Arkansas as well as
much of Eastern Oklahoma.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and Tonight.

THUNDERSTORMS WITH DANGEROUS LIGHTNING.
RISK...Limited.
AREA...West of Highway 75 in Northeast Oklahoma.
ONSET...After Midnight.

DISCUSSION...
Thunderstorms are expected to develop over the High Plains this
evening and gradually spread eastward overnight.  These
storms will weaken as they approach eastern Oklahoma and are
likely to persist into the daylight hours on Wednesday.

SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT...
Spotter Activation Not Expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.
WEDNESDAY through FRIDAY...Thunderstorm Potential.
SATURDAY through MONDAY...Dangerous Heat Potential.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
A few thunderstorms are likely to be ongoing early Wednesday
across portions of northeast Oklahoma.  Additional storm
chances will persist Wednesday afternoon and more likely
late Wednesday night into Thursday.  The highest chances
will remain across northeast Oklahoma and points northward.
Currently, severe weather appears unlikely as instability
remains rather low.
Hot and humid conditions return for the weekend with
daily heat index values of 100 to 105 degrees likely.
