This Outlook is for Northwest and West Central Arkansas as well as
much of Eastern Oklahoma.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

THUNDERSTORMS WITH DANGEROUS LIGHTNING.
RISK...Limited.
AREA...Eastern Oklahoma.
ONSET...Late Tonight.

DISCUSSION...
Rain chances along with a slight chance of thunder develop across
parts of eastern Oklahoma late tonight ahead of a low pressure
system lifting northeast into Texas. Severe weather is not
expected tonight.

SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT...
Spotter Activation Not Expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.
THURSDAY...Thunderstorm Potential...Heavy Rain Potential.
FRIDAY through TUESDAY...Thunderstorm Potential.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
Shower and thunderstorm chances spread across eastern Oklahoma and
northwest Arkansas Thursday before exiting during the day Friday
with the departing low pressure system. A heavy rain threat which
may increase flood concerns is the primary hazard, while marginal
instability will limit severe weather potential. Additional
thunderstorm chances quickly return Friday night and Saturday with
another disturbance and frontal boundary moving into the region.
This boundary lifts back north Sunday ahead of a broad area of
low pressure moving into the southern Plains that is forecast to
hold over the region into next week. In response, rain shower and
scattered thunderstorm chances exist each day Sunday into early
next week with a locally heavy rain threat and isolated to limited
severe storm potential.
