ONSET...Afternoon.

DISCUSSION...
Hot and humid conditions will continue today with afternoon heat
index values of 100 to 105 degrees common across much of
eastern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas. Remember to drink
plenty of water and take frequent breaks if outdoor activities
are planned.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.
SATURDAY through MONDAY...No Hazards.
TUESDAY through THURSDAY...Thunderstorm Potential.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
Hot and humid afternoons will continue through the
weekend and into next week. A slight chance of daily
thunderstorms returns next week. The higher terrain
of southeast Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas will
most likely have the higher thunderstorm chances next week.
