This Outlook is for Northwest and West Central Arkansas as well as
much of Eastern Oklahoma.

DISCUSSION...
Thunderstorms are expected to develop by late this afternoon from
western Missouri into southern Kansas along a cold front. These
storms may move south and southeast into parts of northeast
Oklahoma and far northwest Arkansas this evening before weakening
by late evening. A few severe storms will be possible mainly
across parts of northeast Oklahoma this evening, with hail up to
quarter size and wind gusts up to 60 mph.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.
THURSDAY AND FRIDAY...Thunderstorm Potential.
SATURDAY...Thunderstorm, High Wind, and Heavy Rain Potential.
SUNDAY...Severe Thunderstorm, High Wind, Dangerous Heat,
and Heavy Rain Potential.
MONDAY...Thunderstorm Potential.
TUESDAY...Thunderstorm Potential...Heavy Rain Potential.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
Unsettled weather is expected over the next week, with near daily
shower and thunderstorm chances. The greatest coverage of showers
and storms will likely be on Thursday, and again Sunday evening
and overnight. Some severe weather threat will exist most days,
with Sunday evening likely seeing the greatest threat for severe
weather. Locally heavy rainfall will also be possible, especially
Sunday evening and overnight.

Hot and humid conditions are expected across southeast Oklahoma
Thursday afternoon, and will likely return to much of the area
Sunday.
