This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central Pennsylvania.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

If any thunderstorms develop this afternoon and evening, they will be
capable of producing damaging winds and hail.

   Heat Advisory.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Increasing concentrations of wildfire smoke could lead to reduced
visibility and degraded air quality Thursday and Friday.

Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms could produce locally
heavy rainfall and isolated instances of flooding on Saturday.

...HEAT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM TO 8 PM EDT
WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Heat index values up to 104 expected.

* WHERE...Adams, Cumberland, Franklin, Fulton, Lancaster, and York
  Counties.

* WHEN...From 11 AM to 8 PM EDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat
  illnesses.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Smoke aloft from wildfires in Ontario and
  northern Minnesota may help to lower the temperatures a degree or
  two from current expectations for Wednesday. If it does, that
  would help to lessen concerns for heat illnesses.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay out of the sun, and stay in an
air-conditioned room.

Know the signs and symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke.
