The nearshore and off shore Atlantic and Caribbean Coastal Waters-

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Puerto Rico and the adjacent
Atlantic Coastal Waters.

.Day One...Today and Tonight

.Thunderstorms...There is a chance of thunderstorms with heavy
rainfall and brief gusty winds this afternoon across portions of
the San Juan metro area and across the eastern, interior and western
sections of Puerto Rico.

.Flooding...Heavy rains could lead to urban and small stream

.Wind...Sustained winds in excess of 18 knots are possible this
afternoon across the Atlantic coastal waters.

.Rip Currents...There is a moderate risk of rip currents for
the northern and southwest beaches of Puerto Rico.

.Days Two through Seven...Monday through Saturday

Showers and thunderstorms are expected on Monday and on Tuesday with
the passage of the tropical wave and due to abundant tropical moisture
over the region. This will cause urban and small stream flooding,
localized flash flooding and mudslides can not be ruled. A moderate
risk of rip currents will continue across the northern beaches during
the next several days.

.Spotter information statement...

Widespread spotter activation is not anticipated, however individual
spotter are encouraged to report high winds, flooding, waterspouts
and rip currents to the National Weather Service in San Juan.
