This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Puerto Rico and the adjacent
Atlantic Coastal Waters.

.Day One...Today and Tonight

.Thunderstorms...There is a chance of thunderstorms with heavy
rainfall and brief gusty winds this afternoon across most of the northern
half of Puerto Rico, as well as eastern portions of the island.

.Flooding...Heavy rains could lead to urban and small stream
flooding, especially across northwestern Puerto Rico. Elsewhere,
ponding of water on roadways and poorly drained areas likely.

.Wind...Sustained winds in excess of 20 MPH (17 knots) expected
across most of the local waters, as well as coastal areas of northern
and southern Puerto Rico, including Culebra and Vieques.

.Waves...Choppy/Rough seas up to 6 feet expected across portions of all
but the coastal waters of western Puerto Rico.

.Rip Currents...There is a moderate risk of rip currents for all but
beaches along the western coast of Puerto Rico.

.Days Two through Seven...Monday through Saturday

A moderate risk of rip currents will continue during the next several
days. Fair and drier weather conditions accompanied by Saharan dust
are expected throughout the week.

.Spotter information statement...

Widespread spotter activation is not anticipated, however individual
spotter are encouraged to report high winds, flooding and rip
currents to the National Weather Service in San Juan.
