This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Puerto Rico and the adjacent
Atlantic Coastal Waters.

.Day One...Today and Tonight

.Thunderstorms...There is a chance of thunderstorms with heavy
rainfall and brief gusty winds through the day across much of Puerto
Rico.

.Flooding...Heavy rains could lead to urban and small stream
flooding.

.Wind...Sustained winds in excess of 20 MPH are expected across the
coastal areas and higher elevations.

.Waves...Choppy seas up to 7 feet are expected across the Atlantic
waters and passages.

.Rip Currents...There is a high risk of rip currents for the northern
beaches of Puerto Rico and Culebra.

.Days Two through Seven...Thursday through Tuesday

A high rip current risk will continue for the northern beaches of
Puerto Rico on Thursday. A moderate risk of rip currents will continue
through the weekend across the northern and eastern beaches of the
islands. Isolated thunderstorms could develop each afternoon over
portions of west/southwest PR. This could lead to urban and small
stream flooding.

.Spotter information statement...

Widespread spotter activation is not anticipated, however individual
spotter are encouraged to report high winds, flooding and rip
currents to the National Weather Service in San Juan.

.NOW...
At least until 5:00 pm ast, frequent passing showers and isolated
thunderstorms will continue to develop and quickly move westward
across the island and coastal waters. Periods of moderate to heavy
rains and gusty winds between 30-35 mph will remain possible with
the passing showers and storms. This will result in hazardous driving
conditions, as well as ponding of waters on roadways and in poor
drainageareas. Mudslide will also remain possible in areas of
steep terrain due to already saturated and loose soil.
