Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be flooded. Extensive street flooding and flooding of creeks and rivers are possible. Plan to stop all outdoor activity and move to shelters. .Excessive Rainfall...Flooding of urban areas, roads, small streams, and washes. Flash floods possible. .Excessive Heat...Heat index 102-107 degrees across the urban and coastal areas of North Central PR. Heat exhaustion possible with prolonged exposure. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday A wet and unstable weather pattern is expected to persist through early next week. A series of troughs will promote thunderstorms and excessive rainfall across the area, enhancing the potential for flooding across the islands.
