...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM EST THIS AFTERNOON...

The Flood Watch continues for

* Portions of southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island,
  including the following areas, in southeastern Massachusetts,
  Barnstable, Bristol, and Plymouth Counties. In Rhode Island,
  Bristol, Kent, Newport, Southeast Providence, and Washington
  Counties.

* Until 4 PM EST this afternoon

* Periods of very heavy rain today will result in storm totals of
  2 to 3 inches with isolated higher amounts possible.

* A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on
  current forecasts. You should monitor later forecasts and be
  alert for possible Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone
  to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding
  develop.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM EST THIS
EVENING...

* WHAT...Mixed wintry precipitation expected. Total snow
  accumulations of 2 to 4 inches and ice accumulations of up to
  two tenths of an inch expected.

* WHERE...Portions of northern Connecticut, southeastern
  Massachusetts and northern Rhode Island. This includes the
  cites and towns of Union, Vernon, Putnam, Willimantic,
  Taunton, Brockton, Plymouth, Foster, Smithfield, Providence,
  Coventry, West Greenwich, East Greenwich, Warwick, and West
  Warwick.

* WHEN...Until 7 PM EST Sunday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on slippery road conditions.
  Temperatures rise above freezing this morning, but this will be
  followed by a flash freeze between noon and 5 pm.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Expect slippery
roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.
