This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for southeast South Carolina.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Please listen to NOAA Weather Radio or go to weather.gov on the
Internet for more information about the following hazards.

   Coastal Flood Advisory.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Coastal Flooding: Tide levels will remain elevated through early in
the week, and at least minor or moderate coastal flooding is
anticipated with the high tides. Additional Coastal Flood Advisories
could be required.

There is also a small risk of major coastal flooding with the high
tide late Sunday morning. A Coastal Flood Watch and or Warning could
be required.

...COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 9 PM THIS EVENING TO 1 AM
EST SUNDAY...

The National Weather Service in Charleston has issued a Coastal
Flood Advisory, which is in effect from 9 PM this evening to 1 AM
EST Sunday.

* LOCATIONS...Beaufort, Coastal Colleton and Charleston.

* COASTAL FLOOD IMPACTS...Up to one half foot of inundation above
  ground level is expected in low-lying areas near shorelines and
  tidal waterways (near 7.1 feet Mean Lower Low Water at
  Charleston). This could result in some roads becoming impassable.

* TIMING...High tide will occur around 10:27 PM today at Charleston
  and around 11:31 PM at Beaufort. Saltwater inundation will be
  possible 1 to 2 hours before and after high tide.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be closed.
Do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth.
Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property.
