...HIGH WIND WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM THURSDAY TO 7 AM CDT
FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Northwest winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 60 mph
  expected.

* WHERE...In Minnesota, Big Stone and Traverse Counties. In South
  Dakota, Clark, Codington, Day, Deuel, Grant, Hamlin, Marshall, and
  Roberts Counties.

* WHEN...From 7 PM Thursday to 7 AM CDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...High winds may move loose debris, damage property and
  cause power outages. Travel could be difficult, especially for
  high profile vehicles.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

People are urged to secure loose objects that could be blown around
or damaged by the wind.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for west central Minnesota and
northeast South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

A clipper system will bring strong winds to the region Thursday
evening into the overnight hours, with gusts potentially in excess
of 50 mph.

We continue to track a system for Saturday/Saturday night which
looks to potently bring a few inches of snow along with a strong
northeast breeze.
