...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 3 AM TO 9 PM CST
SUNDAY...

* WHAT...Snow and widespread blowing snow expected. Total snow
  accumulations up to one inch. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph.

* WHERE...Portions of central, north central, and northeast South
  Dakota.

* WHEN...From 3 AM to 9 PM CST Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Widespread blowing
  snow, frequently reducing visibility below a half mile, will make
  travel dangerous, especially in open country. Gusty winds could
  bring down tree branches.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Slow down and use caution while traveling. The latest road
conditions can be obtained by calling 5 1 1.

* WHEN...From 9 AM to 6 PM CST Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects and a few
  power outages may result.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Light snow Sunday, combined with the strong
  winds, will result in significantly reduced visibility at times
  with short periods of white out conditions.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for west central Minnesota,
central South Dakota, north central South Dakota and northeast
South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Snow showers begin to move over the region after midnight. As
northwest winds increase from west to east late tonight, visibilities
will be reduced to half mile or less at times in falling and blowing
snow.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Northwest winds gusting to 50 mph will combine with snow showers on
Sunday to produce blowing snow that will reduce visibility to half
mile or less.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
