This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest Iowa, west central
Iowa, southwest Minnesota, northeast Nebraska, central South
Dakota, east central South Dakota, south central South Dakota and
southeast South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Widespread elevated to locally critical fire weather conditions
today due to low humidity and wind gusts 25 mph. Critical conditions
expected for the US Highway 14 corridor and northward.

Storm chances return this afternoon and evening, mainly for
northwestern Iowa. Strong to severe storms may produce hail to 2
inches in diameter and wind gusts to 75 mph. Have multiple ways to
receive warnings!

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Locally elevated to near critical fire conditions are possible
Saturday due to very low relative humidity and light winds.

Thunderstorms return Saturday night into Monday. Strong to severe
storms are possible. Although confidence is low in exact timing and
coverage, greatest risk remains Sunday afternoon and early evening.
Monitor the forecast especially if you have outdoor plans.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation may be needed at times Friday afternoon and again
at times Saturday night into Monday.
