This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southwest North
Carolina...east Tennessee and southwest Virginia.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected again today,
mainly during the afternoon and overnight period. Some of these
storms could be strong to severe with damaging winds and hail as
the main threats. A low-end tornado threat also exists north of
Interstate 40 and 81.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

Another round of even more organized severe storms is
increasingly likely late Wednesday afternoon through Wednesday
night. With this round of storms, damaging winds and large hail
will be the main threats. A few tornadoes are also possible,
especially north and west of the Knoxville area. With the
continued repeated heavy rainfall, flooding will also be possible
into Thursday.

Afterwards, no hazardous weather is expected.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not needed at this time, but reports may be
needed this afternoon and night with a greater need late Wednesday
afternoon through the night.
