Flood Watch

Flood Watch
National Weather Service Morristown TN
249 PM EST Fri Feb 22 2019

...Moderate to Heavy Rainfall Will Continue Into Saturday...

.Moderate to heavy rainfall continues to threaten as a slow
moving warm front traverses the region amidst very moist profiles.
Thus, current watch placement looks good through 7AM. However,
guidance does show the front remaining across areas along and
north of I40 through around noon. Therefore, the watch has been
extended for those areas until midday. All said, additional
flooding is possible given already saturated ground and high
stream flows.
