This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the Texas and Oklahoma
Panhandles.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Robust north winds continue to blow across the panhandles today
causing elevated fire weather conditions. The winds will weaken
towards this evening, ending the fire weather conditions.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Windy conditions are forecasted to occur for Thursday. This will
cause widespread critical fire weather conditions across the
panhandles for the daytime hours of Thursday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

BREEZY WINDS AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR OK AND TX PANHANDLES...

The National Weather Service in Amarillo has issued a Red Flag
Warning for breezy winds and low relative humidity, which is in
effect from noon to 8 PM CDT Thursday.

* WINDS...Southwest 20.0 to 35.0 mph with gusts up to 45.0 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 8 percent.

* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will have the potential to
  spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.

* SEVERITY...

  FUELS (ERC)...70th-89th percentile...4 (out of 5).

  WEATHER...Near Critical...2 (out of 5).

  FIRE ENVIRONMENT...6 (out of 10).

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now...or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds...low relative humidity...and warm temperatures will
create favorable weather for rapid fire growth and spread. Avoid
activities that promote open flames and sparks.
