Watch, which is in effect from Tuesday morning through Tuesday
evening. a Fire Weather Watch has also been issued from Wednesday
morning through Wednesday evening.

* Timing...11 AM through 7 PM CST Tuesday and Wednesday.

* Wind...For Tuesday, Southwest at 30-45 mph, with gusts up to 60
  mph. For Wednesday, Southwest at 25-35 mph, with gusts up to 40
  mph.

* Humidity...For Tuesday, as low as 15 percent. For Wednesday, as
  low as 10 percent.

* Fuels...Normal to dry.

* Impacts...Any fires that develop can spread rapidly. Outdoor
  burning is discouraged.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the South Plains, Rolling
Plains, and the far Southern Texas Panhandle.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Strong-to-high winds are expected for most of the region Tuesday, in
addition to blowing dust. A High Wind Watch is in effect from 11 AM
through 7 PM CST Tuesday for most of the Caprock. Wind gusts may
exceed 60 mph in areas under the High Wind Watch. Critical fire
danger will also exist for portions of the Caprock, and a Fire
Weather Watch is in effect from 11 AM through 7 PM CST Tuesday across
the far southwestern Texas Panhandle and the northwestern South
Plains.

Low-end windy conditions and warm temperatures will yield the return
of an elevated fire weather risk Wednesday and Thursday.
