This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Deep South

.DAY ONE...Tonight

Increasing tropical moisture across the lower Texas coast will
provide isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms...some
producing heavy rainfall...across portions of deep south Texas
tonight. This will result in minor flooding in low-lying and poor
drainage areas.

There is a moderate risk of rip currents at the beaches of South
Padre Island and Boca Chica beach.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Showers and thunderstorms...some with heavy rainfall...will
develop across portions of the Rio Grande valley and northern
ranchlands Monday through Thursday as a surface trough and an
upper level low moves across northeast Mexico and south Texas
Monday into Tuesday bringing abundant tropical moisture across the
area through Thursday. This will likely produce minor flooding
across portions of deep south Texas Monday through Thursday
especially across low-lying and poor drainage areas.

An elevated risk of rip currents is possible through the period
due to building swells across the western Gulf of Mexico.

Spotter activation will not be needed.
