This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Deep South
Texas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

There is a moderate risk of rip currents at the beaches of South
Padre Island and Boca Chica Beach.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Showers and thunderstorms will increase through the weekend into
early next week as an upper level trough of low pressure
combines with tropical moisture. Heavy rainfall may produce
localized flooding.

Spotter activation will not be needed.

The National Weather Service in Brownsville has issued a

* Flood Warning for...
  Southeastern Hidalgo County in Deep South Texas...
  Northwestern Cameron County in Deep South Texas...
  Willacy County in Deep South Texas...

* Until 815 PM CDT Wednesday.

* Flood waters remain across roadways and poorly draining areas.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Harlingen, Alamo, Donna, Mercedes, Raymondville, La Feria, Elsa,
  Edcouch and Santa Rosa.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as
well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.

Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you
can do so safely.
