This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Deep South
Texas.

.DAY ONE...Rest of Tonight

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected throughout the rest
of this evening and tonight. Any of the stronger or more persistent
showers and thunderstorms will have the potential to produce locally
heavy rainfall or nuisance flooding in low-lying and poorly-draining
areas.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

Heat index values of up to 110 degrees are expected during the
afternoon hours this weekend.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are forecast for Wednesday.
Any of the heavier or more persistent showers and thunderstorms
will have the potential to produce locally heavy rainfall or
nuisance flooding in low-lying and poorly-draining areas.

An elevated risk of rip currents is possible at the beaches of
South Padre Island and at Boca Chica Beach Wednesday and Thursday
and again on Sunday.
