Elevated to near-critical fire weather conditions will exist this afternoon and early evening across far West Texas, parts of Southeast New Mexico, and the higher terrain. A Fire Danger Statement is in effect. A Heat Advisory is in effect this afternoon through tonight for the Chisos Basin, Davis Mountains, and Lower Brewster County. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday. A Heat Advisory will remain in effect for the Chisos Basin, Davis Mountains, and Lower Brewster County through Monday evening. Elevated to near-critical fire weather conditions are possible Monday through Wednesday from Southeast New Mexico down to the Big Bend.
