This hazardous weather outlook is for eastern Utah and western
Colorado.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Isolated storms are possible this afternoon over the eastern
portion of the San Juans and Elk mountains closest to the Divide.
Gusty outflow winds and lightning are the main concerns.
Otherwise, hot and dry conditions persist for much of the area
with near record high temperatures in some areas.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

Mainly dry and hot conditions persist through the weekend. A
small amount of moisture will work its way up the Continental
Divide Wednesday, allowing for isolated to scattered storms over
the high terrain. Gusty outflow winds and lightning remain the
primary concerns with storms, with very little rainfall. A trough
will push across the region Thursday, bringing dry air from the
west and pushing what little moisture is present to the east.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed.
