...
At 200 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Henrieville to 12 miles east of Kanab.
Movement was west at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Kanab, Henrieville, Hatch, Bryce Canyon National Park, Stateline CG,
Paria River Slot Canyon, The Wave, Paria Canyon, Tropic, Glendale,
Cannonville, Alton, Hillsdale, Long Valley Junction, Rubys Inn, and
Kodachrome Basin State Park.
This includes the following highways...
US Route 89 between mile markers 11 and 76, between mile markers 89
and 90, and between mile markers 95 and 124.
Utah Route 12 between mile markers 11 and 39.
