Significant snowfall accumulations are expected in the mountains, especially in and near the Smokies where a Winter Storm Warning has been issued. Light accumulations are also expected in portions of southwest Virginia with a dusting to 1/2 inch possible for the Cumberland Plateau and northern Tennesse Valley areas. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday A period of wintry mix is possible Friday night into Saturday, mainly for the higher terrain.
