This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for eastern West Virginia,
northern and central Virginia, and central and western Maryland
with the exception of Garrett County.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

Flood Warnings remain in effect for portions of the area. Please
refer to the latest warnings for further details.

A Wind Advisory is in effect through of tonight for locations
along and west of the Blue Ridge Mountains and far northwestern
suburbs of Baltimore and Washington.

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until 2 AM for much of the
Allegheny Front.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

Flooding will continue in parts of the Potomac River basin into
Saturday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotters are requested to submit snow and wind damage reports
according to standard operating procedures.

...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 AM EDT SATURDAY...

* TIMING...The potential for strong wind gusts will last through
  late tonight, especially on the ridges.

* WINDS...Northwest 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds may blow down limbs, trees, and power
  lines. Scattered power outages are expected.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Wind Advisory means that winds of 45 to 55 mph are expected.
Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles.
