Precipitation will overspread the area through the late evening and overnight. While some rain is possible at the onset, a changeover to snow is likely. Bands of snow with brief moderate to heavy rates are possible, which could provide quick accumulations of a coating to an inch and reduce visibility to less than one half mile. By the time snow ends early Sunday morning, some localized totals of 1 to 2 inches are possible. Overall, precipitation may only last 2 to 4 hours at any given location. Temperatures will drop below freezing by daybreak, so any areas that are wet could freeze, especially on untreated and elevated surfaces. If you are traveling and encounter adverse winter driving conditions, reduce speed and make sure headlights are on. $$ BELAK
