* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...Portions of north central North Carolina, including the
  following counties, Caswell, Rockingham and Stokes and Virginia,
  including the following counties, Appomattox, Buckingham,
  Campbell, Charlotte, Franklin, Halifax, Henry and Pittsylvania.

* WHEN...From 2 PM EDT this afternoon through late tonight.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
  Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Thunderstorms with torrential rains on already saturated
    soils may lead to flooding this afternoon and evening.
