* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
  possible.

* WHERE...Portions of north central North Carolina, including the
  following counties, Caswell, Rockingham and Stokes and south
  central Virginia, including the following counties, Charlotte,
  Halifax and Pittsylvania.

* WHEN...Through this evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
  Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Thunderstorms with heavy rain may lead to flash flooding this
    evening.

and south central Virginia.

Scattered thunderstorms are possible this afternoon and evening.
Locally heavy rainfall and isolated instances of flash flooding are
possible. A few storms could also become strong to severe, with
damaging wind gusts the main threat.
