...COASTAL FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM SATURDAY MORNING
THROUGH LATE SUNDAY NIGHT...

* LOCATION...Southside Hampton Roads.

* TIMING...Minor to locally moderate coastal flooding is possible
  around high tide Saturday, with moderate to locally major
  coastal flooding expected around high tide Saturday night
  and again Sunday.

* COASTAL FLOOD IMPACTS...Up to one foot inundation is expected on
  Saturday, with two feet or greater inundation Saturday night
  and especially Sunday.

* SHORELINE IMPACTS...Large waves along with the rising water
  levels may cause severe beach and coastal damage, starting as
  early as Saturday, but especially Saturday night into Sunday.
  Waves could severely damage dune structures resulting in
  damage to property along the shoreline including some property
  located immediately behind dune structures. Actions should be
  taken to protect life and property.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Coastal Flood Watch means that conditions favorable for
flooding are expected to develop. Coastal residents should be
alert for later statements or warnings...and take action to
protect property.

* WHERE...In Virginia, Chesapeake, and City of Hampton and
  Poquoson. In North Carolina, Perquimans County.

* WHEN...From 4 AM Saturday to 6 PM EST Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects.
  Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may
  result.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high
profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.
