This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northeast North Carolina and
southeast Virginia.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Scattered thunderstorms will be possible late this afternoon and this
evening. Damaging wind gusts and frequent lightning will be the main
threats. Slow-moving thunderstorms will also bring the potential for
isolated instances of flash flooding, mainly in flood prone and urban
areas.

Additionally, Heat Advisories could be needed on Monday. High
temperatures in the low to mid 90s are forecast across the outlook
area, with heat indices in the 105-109 range possible Monday
afternoon.
