This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northern New York, central
Vermont, northeast Vermont, northwest Vermont and southern Vermont.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Numerous showers and thunderstorms are expected Thursday from noon
through the afternoon hours. While the threat of severe weather is
low, some stronger storms are possible with the capability of
producing localized heavy rainfall.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Increasing heat and humidity returns for the weekend which could
produce heat index values in the low to mid 90s. Take frequent breaks
and stay hydrated. Seek shade often and find air conditioning if
experiencing heat related illness.

...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 715 PM EDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of northeast and northwest Vermont, including the
  following counties, in northeast Vermont, Orleans. In northwest
  Vermont, Franklin.

* WHEN...Until 715 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 405 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the warned area. Between 1.5 and 2 inches of rain
    have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are possible
    in the warned area.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Jay, Jay In Franklin County, Westfield, North Troy Village,
    Troy, Richford, Montgomery and North Troy.

    shortly in the warned area. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of
    rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 1.25 inches are possible
    in the warned area.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Montgomery, Belvidere, Montgomery Center, Enosburg,
    Bakersfield, Eden, Waterville, Westfield, Lowell and West
    Hill.
