This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast
Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and Tonight

Strong northeast winds will lead to hazardous swimming conditions
through this evening for Lake Superior near the Twin Ports,
including the beaches of Duluth and Superior.

Chances for showers and isolated thunderstorms increase late
tonight. Severe storms are not expected tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

Strong northeast winds will increase the threat of rip currents
again on Saturday for areas near the Twin Ports, including the
beaches of Duluth and Superior.

There will be additional rounds of thunderstorm chances Saturday
and again early next week. Widespread severe weather is not
expected, but a few strong to severe storms are possible late Monday
into Tuesday.

EVENING...

* WHAT...Dangerous swimming conditions are expected along the
  Lake Superior shoreline due to high wave action and strong rip
  currents.

* WHERE...Minnesota Park Point and Wisconsin Point Beaches.

* WHEN...Until 9 PM CDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Life-threatening waves and rip currents are expected.
  Stay out of the water and stay away from dangerous areas like
  piers and breakwalls.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain out of the water to avoid hazardous swimming conditions.
