Damaging wind up to 70-80 mph and heavy rainfall leading to potential flash flooding are the main hazards. A couple tornadoes cannot be ruled out in the apex of the bow in the line across the Arrowhead, but the threat is lower. Dangerously hot weather in store for today, with heat index values from 95 to 105 degrees expected. Extreme Heat Warnings and Heat Advisories are in effect. A conditional threat for a few isolated strong to severe storms can`t be ruled out later this afternoon and evening, but the potential is low. Large hail and wind gusts up to 60 mph would be the main threats. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday Dangerously hot weather is expected again on Sunday. Heat index values from 95 to 105 degrees are possible. Additional strong to severe thunderstorms may be possible Sunday into early Monday, with damaging winds and large hail as the main threats.
